“WILLIAMSON: Passed away in Rockledge, FL on January 3, 2000 at the age of 67. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, John; son, Mark of Honeoye; 2 granddaughters, Dana Williams of Penfield and Alexandra Williams of Olean. Mrs. Williams graduated from Syracuse University with a BA in English Lit. She was a longtime collector of antiques, specializing in postcards. She was a co-founder of the Western NY Postcard Club, a member of the International Federation of Postcard Dealers and a member of the Wayne County Antique Dealer’s Assoc. Friends may call Monday 2-4 at the Norton Funeral Home in Sodus where Services will be held at 4 PM. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Williamson Volunteer Ambulance Corps.”

“SODUS/SEVERNA PARK: Age 82, formerly of Sodus and Poughkeepsie, died on Jan. 19, 2000 in Glen Burnie, MD. Mr. Fox was pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 61 years, Elizabeth (Betty) in May of 1999. He was the loving and supportive father of Harold E. Fox and wife, Rhea of Gibson Island, MD; proud and devoted grandfather of Harold H. Fox of Washington, DC and Andrhea A. Fox-Antoniak of St. Louis, MO and their spouses, Alison and Michael. He recently became the delighted great-grandfather of Chase Eric Fox. Willis was a devoted career Engineer with IBM, a dedicated leader of volunteer firemen and an active Church member. His love, strength, and caring was steadfast and his great love for his wife, family, and friends will always be cherished. They love him and will miss him dearly.Friends may call Sat. 2-4 at the Norton Funeral Home in Sodus where Funeral Services will follow at 4 p.m. Interment, will be in Fairville Cemetery at a later date.
